Jeroen Lokerse, Head of the Netherlands Cushman & Wakefield, has been nominated for the 2017 Real Estate Agent of the Year Award by Vastgoedmarkt. The jury nominated Jeroen because of his overall role in the real estate sector as managing partner of the largest real estate advisor in the Netherlands. In September 2015, DTZ globally merged with Cushman & Wakefield followed by the merger with DTZ Zadelhoff in the Netherlands in November 2016. Through this merger, Cushman & Wakefield is now the largest advisor in the Netherlands, worldwide the firm is second largest.
Jeroen Lokerse was also nominated in 2015 for the Real Estate Agent Award on the grounds of his continuing efforts to close the gap between the owners of retail concept store V&D and the property owners of the physical V&D stores in order to prevent a bankruptcy.
Jeroen started his career as developer at Ballast Nedam, after that he became director at Troostwijk following a move in 2007 to Cushman & Wakefield. At Cushman & Wakefield, he became managing partner in 2012 and remained Head of the Netherlands after the merger with DTZ Zadelhoff. Lokerse also was the first winner of the Yardi/Vastgoedmarkt Young Talent Award in 2008.
