Jasper Stegmann, rental agent logistics real estate of Cushman & Wakefield: “The Netherlands has been and still remains very popular when it comes to logistics locations. Especially in the area between the port of Rotterdam and the hinterland of Belgium and Germany, there is persistent shortage of modern, multi-purpose distribution. What makes the Netherlands so attractive is the good infrastructure of roads, water and railways. In addition, the labor and tax conditions in our country are important benefits. Both distribution centers are ultramodern and meet the highest standards for a modern distribution center, both receiving the BREEAM[i] sustainability certificate ‘good’. We are convinced that this development built on speculative basis is accountable, which is also confirmed by interest from the market. We are in contact with several potential tenants.
