Moorpark / ARC buys former Cisco building in Amsterdam

ING sold the former Cisco building on Haarlerbergweg 13-23 in Amsterdam to Moorpark / ARC. The Land Registry announced a purchase price of € 88 million.

ING bought the building 'Haarlerbergpark "in southeast Amsterdam last summer for € 42 million from Cisco. At that time the 46,000 square meter complex was still more than half empty. ING has resold the building now for a 10-year lease to Moor Park / ARC.

The IT campus, currently located at Haarlemmerweg in Amsterdam, moved to this office and the new IT campus in Southeast. ING has sold the office complex at Haarlemmerweg recently to Pinnacle.

ING sold the building because, like other banks they are in need of a simplified balance sheet and prefer to minimize their real estate.

Cisco employs approximately 11,000 sqm in Haarlerbergpark. Other tenants include Koning & Hartman, Merck Chemicals, Laureate Online Education and AMS.

CBRE acted for ING and Cushman & Wakefield for the buyer.
