Berlin Hyp provided a loan of 85 million euros to Ramphastos Real Estate Investments, the real estate company of Marcel Boekhoorn, for the refinancing of the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
That was announced by the German lender on June 11th. The High Tech Campus is home to more than 135 companies on a square kilometer with 45,000 m2 of facilities for research and development, 185,000 m2 of office space and 6,000 m2 for new businesses. An area of 125,000 m2 can still be developed.
Adelaer Real Estate Finance acted as advisor to Ramphastos Real Estate Investments and brought the real estate company in contact with Berlin Hyp. Cushman & Wakefield advised Berlin Hyp on the valuation of High Tech Campus. Loyens and Loeff acted as adviser to the financier. NautaDutilh assisted Ramphastos in the legal field.
Book Horn continued to keep the High Tech Campus in possession after investor Kildare last year took over the rest of its property portfolio. That was done through the purchase of the underlying loans for 430 million euros.
