G-Star RAW will soon open a new store in the characteristic corner building from the 'Maatschappij Arti et Amicitae' (founded in 1839) at the junction of the Spui and the Rokin in Amsterdam and nearby the new metro station Rokin. The shop has a surface of approximately 163 square meters and is located on 'De Rode Loper'. De Rode Loper is a project of the City of Amsterdam to give a new structure to the streets above the subway tunnels of the North / South line.
G-Star has been a pioneer in denim since its founding in 1989 and is known for the original construction methods and challenging conventions. G-Star has developed into one of the most prominent denim brands in the fashion world with over 6,500 sales points and 500+ stores in 70 countries and a flagship store in PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam.
Jacobs Van der Meij Real Estate advised G-Star in the lease of the shop on the Spui. The landlord, a private investor, was advised by international real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield.
