Martijn Onderstal from DTZ to Cushman & Wakefield

Martijn Onderstal (36) MSRE RRV, joined Cushman & Wakefield per 1 February 2015 as Associate at the Valuation & Advisory department. Onderstal comes from DTZ and will be responsible within the Valuations team for providing services to a large number of institutional and private real estate investors. Onderstal has over twelve years of real estate experience. Most recently, he served as deputy director at DTZ responsible for the valuation team in the Utrecht region. Besides his advice to property investors he will use his expertise to internally train junior surveyors at Cushman & Wakefield.

In his role Onderstal reports to Willem Rodermond, Partner and Head of Valuation & Advisory at Cushman & Wakefield. Rodermond says regarding the appointment of Onderstal: "With Martijn we bring on multiple fronts a major strengthening to our Valuations team. Our assignments in residential valuations have grown strongly over the last few years. Martijn is specialized in this segment, therefore he adds a lot of value for our customers and for our team. We see that Martijn is the right person to lead and guide our junior internal surveyors. He combines extensive real estate expertise and a strong track record of leadership and experience in leading teams." 

With the arrival of Onderstal the Valuation & Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield counts 30 employees. The team offers both valuations and consultancy services for large, often international clients in all sectors of the financial and property markets.
