Cushman & Wakefield has joined Stichting Vastgoeddata (Stivad). Stivad aims to promote transparency in the real estate market and to collect data that can be used to validate valuations.
With the advent of Cushman & Wakefield, Stivad now has thirty participants. Willem Rodermond, partner and head of Valuation & Advisory of Cushman & Wakefield, calls Stivad essential for more transparency, better valuations and therefore more confidence in the property investment market. "We take these issues very serious. In fact, Cushman & Wakefield is one of consultants who worked on the implementation of the recommendations of the Platform Valuers and Accountants in which cooperation with Stivad and property owners was one of the recommendations."
The participating real estate advisors values jointly 75 percent of the Dutch commercial real estate. "We are happy with the coming of Cushman & Wakefield. Their participation is another step forward towards more market transparency and further professionalisation ", says René Vierkant, chairman of the board of Stivad.
